     The Ultra 205 is unquestionably the industry's performance leader, outperforming all other RAID systems by as much as 400%! The Ultra 205 supports up to 345GB from a single controller, and is scalable to multi-terabyte capacities.

     The TODD Ultra 205 delivers 40MB/sec Ultra Wide SCSI-3 throughput to both host and devices. Available in a broad range of RAID configurations, the Ultra 205 features unique array management tools with intelligent new cabinetry designed for reliability and configuration flexibility. The TODD Ultra 205 quadruples the performance of traditional Fast SCSI-2 RAID systems. While the Ultra fully utilizes bi-directional Ultra Wide SCSI-3 today, it also delivers a seamless backward compatibility with older SCSI technology. Each Ultra Series array features an intelligent environmental warning system that monitors fans, power, and temperature within the unit and initiates audible and visual alarms. Emergency fault notification is provided by a user-configurable Remote Dial-Out feature. Remote configuration, remote diagnostics, and remote maintenance can be performed through the Ultra's Remote Dial-in features. The Ultra Series supports the automatic failover of controllers, and provides automatic drive failure detection and rebuilding along with Global Spare Drive support. Additional levels of fault-tolerance are provided by redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans. The TODD Ultra Series supports RAID Levels 0, 1, 0+1, 3 &5 concurrently, and accommodates optional peripheral devices such as tape, optical and CD-ROM drives. The Ultra Cabinetry is available standard in either Black or Beige.
